AI is here and DBS bank announced they will cut 4,000 jobs over the next couple of years. This is not new and many companies are already planning to slowly replace jobs with automation, AI is one such automation.

I remebered seeing Midjourney and realised no point trying to be a concept designer, Technical skills will erode, but you need the Artistic Taste.

How do i work with AI? As a Coder or Designer what can I do?

I believe we will have to keep adapting and keep on top of things. We will have to learn the new tools and find new value to unlock.

I don't think AI can build the next big thing, get customer obsessed, one way it to get as close as you can to the customer and solve their problems. AI does not have empathy I don't think it ever will.

Not too long a go a Youtube video about those in their 40s and Jobs and AI. He was telling us to learn new skills and be adaptable.

DBS Group plans to cut around 4,000 of its contract and temporary staff workforce over the next three years as artificial intelligence increasingly takes on roles carried out by human beings.
