Medium Shutting down? Don't Think so

Medium has users writing about its demise again. I do feel its like a ghost town sometimes and most content gets clickbaity. I also feel some are AI Generated. It does feel like the ship is sinking, like Titanic.

I see mostly writers feeling like the platform can't earn much money, which is true and I doubt text will earn you a decent living its already been taken over by AI Generators.

That is why many abadon ship and went to substack.

Substack has been on the rise but I do feel its becoming another social media platform and the same issues will arise eventually. I sort of Quiet Quit it for a while. I am thankful for making some connections there and meeting other game bloggers but I feel that its time to have a space of my own.

Thats why I started this blog. Using Ghost. And not worry about AI or the Algorithmns.

Medium as an Archive

My hope for using medium is to use it as an archive for when I am long gone. Many have spoken about Medium demise but I do feel that it probably will sputter and run along but not make much impact as in the heydays.

I think Medium will be ok despite many leaving the platform.

But even if it shuts down So What!

I can't predict the future, I just want to share in writing and video if I can my thoughts and journey.

I don't think medium will shut down but it will be less relevant.

End of the Blog

I probably will have to end this blog someday. Might transfer this to medium if I can so that my future kids can read them. Not sure if it will reach anyone but I feel that just writing here is there is no Algorithm to please no one commenting or
